Our team is skilled in various data collection techniques, including controlled lab experiments, quasi-experiments, both online and in-lab surveys, as well as field studies.

A variety of immersive technologies, including VR Goggles for complete virtual experiences and AR Goggles that enhance reality, facilitating innovative learning and research in digital environments.
Robotic Technology
We work with service robots, AI-powered machines, capable of autonomously or semi-autonomously performing tasks, providing assistance in diverse fields such as healthcare, hospitality, and domestic environments.
Mobile Technology
We offer personal computing devices like iPads for portable, versatile tasks and laptops for more powerful, diverse applications, catering to a wide range of educational and research needs.
Biometric Technology
We offer advanced biometric technology, including eye-tracking and EEG, for measuring and analyzing biological data, crucial for understanding and interpreting human behaviors and responses.
Working with DEXLab's Equipment
Staff members and students at Maastricht University can book equipment from the DEXLab for their needs, primarily for use in experiments or digital breakout sessions.
To book equipment, visit the Resource Booker platform. This platform allows you to check equipment availability and make reservations.

In-Lab Use: The equipment is available for use within the DEXLab, subject to availability. Ensure you follow the lab's guidelines while using the equipment.

Special Permission for Outside Use: For field studies or usage outside the DEXLab, fill out an equipment lending form. This is necessary for proper management and tracking of the lab's resources.

Responsibility and Care: Users are responsible for the care of the equipment during their booking period. Any damages or issues must be reported to the lab manager immediately to maintain the equipment in good working condition for all users.
