Exploring the Future: DEXLab's Adventure in Helsinki

At DEXLab, we're always on the lookout for exciting opportunities to delve into the world of innovation and technology. Our Co-founder and Director, Dominik Mahr, recently had the privilege of participating in the Service and Innovation Workshop at Hanken in Helsinki.

In this blog post, we're going to take you on a journey through our perspective, minus the academic jargon, and highlight some of the intriguing insights we gained.

Magnus Söderlund's Robots and Humanization

The workshop started with a bang, thanks to Professor Magnus Söderlund from the Stockholm School of Economics. He opened our minds to the fascinating world of robots that seem surprisingly human. Imagine a future where we interact seamlessly with robots as if they were our friends - it's not as far-fetched as you might think!

Stefanie Paluch's Mind-Bending Technology

Next, we were treated to a mind-bending talk by Professor Stefanie Paluch from RWTH Aachen University. She talked about something straight out of science fiction: brain-computer interfaces. Imagine controlling things with your thoughts! This technology is shaping up to be a game-changer, and we at DEXLab are thrilled to be a part of it.

Kristina Heinonen's Innovative Insights

Now, let's shift gears a bit. Kristina Heinonen, one of the organizers, shared some intriguing insights from the Finnish Innovation Index. This index tells us which companies are rocking the boat when it comes to innovation, all from the perspective of consumers. It's a glimpse into the future of innovation.

Per Kristensson's Journey to Change

Professor Per Kristensson from Karlstad University gave us a reality check. He spoke about the challenges and opportunities in creating behavioral changes in society. It's not just about individuals; it's about changing systems, and this struck a chord with us. Change is a complex puzzle, and we're excited to be a part of it.

Johanna Widomski's Digital Odyssey

Johanna Widomski, an industry expert from Fazer, gave us an exclusive peek into how Fazer is thriving in the digital landscape. In the age of data, personalization, and adaptability, she highlighted how Fazer is staying ahead of the curve. It's a tech-driven world out there, and staying agile is key.

Dominik Mahr's Metaverse Masterclass

And then, there was Dominik Mahr, our very own Co-founder and Director. He took us on a journey through the Metaverse. Imagine a world where digital and physical realities blend seamlessly, where imagination knows no bounds. Dominik's workshop showcased the boundless potential of this emerging technological landscape.

The Service and Innovation Workshop at Hanken was nothing short of exhilarating. It allowed us to share our enthusiasm for technology and innovation with a diverse group of tech enthusiasts, without getting lost in the academic jargon. We're grateful for the opportunity to learn from brilliant minds and to showcase our own contributions.

A big shoutout to the organizers, speakers, and fellow participants for making this event a memorable one.
