Hello everyone,
My name is Nikhil, and I am thrilled to join the DEXlab team as an intern. I am currently in my second year of bachelor’s in business Analytics (BA) at university of Maastricht. I took this opportunity as I am intrigued by technology productisation and innovation. The idea of getting hands-on with this kind of technology and contributing to educational projects and research at DEXLab sounds interesting. As well as allows to gain some experience in a working environment.
I found the business analytics program in Maastricht university, which is a relatively new program, and this was exactly what I wanted to study as it gives a good balance between business, data analysis and data science.
I was born in Hyderabad, India and did my schooling in Switzerland. In 2018, I went to a NASA camp in Huntsville, Alabama. There I got to experience the moon gravity, G-force simulator, and a simulation of the Orion Spacecraft. During this week we performed multiple tasks as a team and learnt how to collaborate and coordinate with each other. In 2019, I took part in the Google Code-in where I performed multiple tasks in R which helped me develop a keen interest in the coding world.
My other hobbies are playing football and cricket, in football I used to play in a local club as a defender. In cricket I represented Switzerland in U15 & U17 teams and played various tournaments in Switzerland and UK where we got the opportunity to play against different countries and local teams. I have a keen interest to explore different cuisines and I love to cook.
